Situated just south of Kannur in north Kerala , The stilted beach huts are positioned in a coconut grove over looking the Indian Ocean, They were designed to sit against the rock face at the rear allowing access to the huts from above while providing a communal area  below. The area was bought by a community collective to help preserve the spread of large scale development for the tourist industry.

Designed to be economic in its construction using materials and techniques  sourced from site while maintaining the classic character of  a coconut grove.
